Lasting Support is a UK safeguarding charity supporting children, young people, and families affected by trauma, exploitation, and breakdowns in trust with statutory services. Their work focuses on early intervention and prevention, operating in the spaces where traditional systems often struggle to engage.

The challenge was not impact, but communication. Lasting Support needed a clear, human way to explain what they do, how they work, and why their approach matters, particularly to funders, partners, and commissioners. Their work is complex and deeply relational, and they wanted this reflected without sounding clinical or reactive. Our aim was to create an About Us film that brought clarity, emotional depth, and confidence to their messaging. We began with an in-depth Brand Voice Guide, built through long-form conversations with the team. This ensured the language, tone, and structure of the film were rooted in their own words and values.

The film was designed as an interview-led piece, allowing contributors to speak honestly and at a natural pace. The focus was on trust, safety, and presence, both on camera and throughout the production process. This approach created a calm environment where meaningful stories could surface without pressure or performance.

The production and post-production process ran smoothly from start to finish, resulting in a film that was signed off at V1. The final outcome is a clear, authentic About Us video that Lasting Support can confidently use across funding applications, partnerships, and digital platforms to explain their role in the safeguarding landscape and the value of their preventative work.
